All persons should evacuate from dangerous areas at the stage of  "(Alert Level 4) Evacuation instruction," which is issued in situations where there is a high risk of a disaster occurring. However, there is no need to evacuate if you are not in a hazardous area after checking the hazard map for possible inundation areas and sediment disaster prone areas.Check the disaster risks at your home or office and plan in advance whether evacuation is necessary, and if so, which evacuation site to go and how to get there, so that you can take appropriate evacuation actions. In addition, families should discuss the roles of each member in the event of a disaster, confirm how to use the Disaster Emergency Message Dial (171) as a means of safety confirmation, and where to evacuate.

    Stock necessary emergency supplies

Prepare a backpack so that you can take it with you at any time of disaster with minimum necessary items to stay at an evacuation site.In addition, each household should stockpile food and water at home at least for 3 days, preferably for 7 days, and portable toilets (excrement waste bags and coagulant). There is another stockpiling method called "rolling stock," in which you stockpile a little more pre-cooked foods than usual, such as retort pouch foods, instant foods, and freeze-dried foods, as well as canned foods and confectioneries, and buy more as you consume them. This is an easy way to start stockpiling, and even in the event of a disaster, you can eat the foods you eat on a regular basis.Let's start stockpiling little by little, starting with what you can do.
